The Reunion 2026 for former and current students of the historic religious institution Jhalakathi NS Kamil Madrasah, founded by Hazrat Qaed Saheb Huzur (RH), was held at Apon Bhuban Resort in Pubail, Gazipur, on Friday.

The event was organized by "Fans Family," an association comprising alumni and current students of the madrasah.

Member of Parliament for Jhalakathi-1 constituency Rafiqul Islam Jamal MP attended the program as the chief guest, while Vice-Chancellor of Islamic Arabic University Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Zafor Khan was present as the keynote speaker.

Special guests at the event included BNP Central Executive Committee Member and Governor of the Board of Governors at the Islamic Foundation (Ministry of Religious Affairs) Alhaj Mawlana Shah Md. Nesarul Haq, former Principal of Jhalakathi NS Kamil Madrasah Abu Zafor Md. Saleh Chandpuri, Principal of Misbahul Ulum Kamil Madrasah in Dhaka Dr. Mofiuddin Ahmad, and Mufassir of Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasah Mawlana Abul Kashem Gazi, alongside former and current teachers and students.

Key addresses were delivered by Haji Siddiqur Rahman, Convener of the Reunion Implementation Committee, and Advocate Md. Arifur Rahman, Assistant Attorney General and Member Secretary of the committee. Over 1,500 former and current teachers and students attended the day-long gathering.

The reunion featured day-long festivities, cultural programs, and performances by renowned national entertainers alongside madrasah alumni and students. Speakers recalled memories from their campus life, and the event concluded with prayers and dua for deceased teachers and students of the institution.
