JUCSU oath-taking ceremony on Sept 18

The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected committee of Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) will be held on September 18 at 3 pm at the university’s Senate Hall.
Prof Dr A K M Rashidul Alam, Proctor of the university and Member-Secretary of the JUCSU Election Commission, confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
Speaking on this matter he said, “the university administration, members of the JUCSU Election Commission, hall provosts, deans of all faculties, journalists and other concerned have been invited to attend the ceremony.”
The long-awaited JUCSU election was held on September 11 after more than three decades, marking a historic moment for the university’s student politics.
