Lucky fisherman Monir gets 4 fishes worth Tk 62, 980 at Daulatdia

Monir Hossain, a fisherman, caught four huge fish in a net at once which he sold at Tk 72 ,980.
The fisherman Monir Hossain hailed from Kushtia district.
On Saturday (October 6) in the Char Carnation area near the ferry ghat at Daulatdia in Goaland upazila of Rajbari, he felt something heavy when he cast his net like in other days. Later, four fish were sold at Tk 72,980.
It has been reported that Monir Haldar, a fisherman from Kushtia, threw a net into the Padma River at around 11am on Saturday and when the net went to the banana orchard in Char Carnation area, four large pangasius fish were caught in the net. Later he took the fish to Daulatdia 5 ferry terminal for sale. At the open auction, Shahjahan, a local fishmonger, bought four fish at a total price of Tk 81,250 per kg at a price of Tk 1,250 per kg. At that time, the curious people gathered to see the four big fish.
In this regard, Monir Hossain, a fisherman, said that if he casts a net in the river every day to catch hilsa, he will not find a single fish. I was in trouble with my wife and children. I could not always market well and I was having difficulty in paying installments. Very helpful.
Later, Emperor Shah Jahan sold four of the fish to two traders in Dhaka at a total price of Tk 62,960 per 1,260 kg.
Emperor Shah Jahan, a local fishmonger, said there was a huge demand for different types of big fish in the Padma. So I buy it as soon as I get it.
