Bagerhat Correspondent A meeting was held to maintain law and order and conducting fair elections in the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election.
Additional IGP Md. Ali Hossain Fakir was present as the chief guest at the meeting organized by Bagerhat District Police at Drill Shed of Bagerhat Police Lines on Thursday afternoon.
Khulna Range DIG Md. Rezaul Haque PPM was present as the special guest at the meeting chaired by Bagerhat Police Superintendent Md. Asaduzzaman. Bagerhat Civil Surgeon Dr. A.S.M. Mahbubul Alam.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Mominur Rahman. Bagerhat Press Club President Md. Kamruzzaman and General Secretary Tarafdar Rabiul Islam. Leaders of the Bus Owners Association, heads of departments of various departments, officers of various police units, and representatives of print and electronic media. People from different levels of society, business representatives were present.
In his speech as the chief guest, Additional IGP Md. Ali Hossain Fakir called on everyone, including members of the law enforcement agencies, journalists, to work together to maintain law and order in the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections and hold fair elections.
