A views-exchange meeting was held regarding the upgrading of one primary school, one secondary school, one college, and one madrasa in each upazila of Satkhira district into model educational institutions.
The meeting was organized by the Deputy Commissioner of Satkhira and took place on Wednesday noon in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Satkhira Deputy Commissioner Mostaq Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Speakers at the event included Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bishnupada Paul, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Edn and ICT) Ripon Biswas, CEO
of the District Council Ishtiaq Ahmed, Principal of Satkhira Government College Abul Hashem, Satkhira district Jamaat-e-Islami leader and educationist Vice Principal Shahidul Islam Mukul, Member Secretary of Satkhira District BNP Abu Zahid Dabloo, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shoaib Ahmad, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Narayan Chandra, Primary Education Officer Hosne Karimi, as well as heads of various educational institutions, student representatives, and journalists from electronic and print media.
