Mirsarai Jamaat candidate's friendly rally held

A friendly rally was held with workers, supporters and interested people from all walks of life of Mirsarai Upazila in support of the scales symbol of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated candidate for the Chittagong-1 (Mirsarai) Constituency in the national parliamentary elections.
The gathering was moderated by Prof Moniruzzaman and Didarul Alam Sumon at JP Convention Hall on Saturday at 3 pm and it was presided over by Principal Muhammad Nur Nabi.
The friendly gathering began with the opening speech and recitation of the Quran by Khatib Maulana Emdadul Haque Nizami.
Prof Ahsan Ullah Bhuiyan, member of the Central Working Committee of Jamaat-e-Islami, delivered the keynote address.
Faisal Muhammad Yunus, Assistant Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong Metropolitan City, was present as the keynote speaker. The special guests were Mr. Alauddin Sikder, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong North District and Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated candidate for Chittagong 03 (Sbandip) constituency, Professor Fazlul Karim, Assistant Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong North District, Professor Borhan Uddin, Training Secretary, Mirsarai Upazila Ameer Maulana Nurul Kabir, Convener of Forum of Diploma Engineers Engineer Tarek Aziz, expatriate Ziauddin Bablu, Law and Foundation Editor of Chittagong University Branch of Islami Chhatra Shibir Afnan Hasan Imran, Ameer of Patenga Thana Jamaat Ameer Abul Mokarram, Vice President of Islami Bank Agrabad Zonal Branch Mr. Shahidullah, Former VP candidate of Nizampur College Students' Union and Shibir leader Nasir Uddin, President and Secretary of two Press Clubs of Mirsarai Upazila respectively Nurul Alam and Anwarul Haque Nizami. Special speakers included Advocate Saifur Rahman, the government's Deputy Attorney General and former Assistant Secretary of the Supreme Bar Association, and former central leader of Chhatra Shibir, the nominated candidate of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh for Chittagong -1 (Mirsarai) Constituency.
