NCP meeting in Gangachara demands July Charter, fundamental reforms

A general meeting was held at the NCP upazila office in Gangachara, Rangpur to implement the July Declaration, the July Charter for the implementation of fundamental reforms and the nationwide program announced by the center on Monday.
Various leaders and activists of the upazila participated in the general meeting.
Under the chairmanship of Chief Coordinator Rifat Chowdhury and moderated by Joint Coordinator Md. Jiban Mia, the speakers called on everyone to unite and play an active role in demanding the July Declaration, the implementation of fundamental reforms and justice.
At this time, Joint Coordinator Masud Rana Tayyab said, July is ours for all. Everyone must play a role to save July.
Joint Coordinator Mahfuz said, we will not tolerate any delay in the trial of the murderers. Visible justice activities should be carried out during the interim government.
In the president's speech, Rifat Chowdhury said, today we have to give a program demanding to save the July Revolution, the curse from which this nation was freed. However, the interim government, which stood on blood, needed to give more importance to the July Charter, fundamental reforms, and justice activities.
We still see that countless July fighters are living inhumane lives. Families who have lost brothers, sisters, and children are suffering terribly.
This government, which stood on blood, must ensure the implementation of the July Charter, fundamental reforms, and justice within its term.
Upazila Coordination Committee members Zikrul Hasan, Abdul Baset, Mohaiminur Rahman Badal, Karimul Islam, Nasim Patwari, and other leaders and activists at various levels participated in the program and expressed their opinions.
The general meeting concluded with prayers for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs and the speedy recovery of the injured, led by Joint Coordinator Jahanur Rahman.
