
Passenger and Goods Transport Committee (RTC) meeting held at Rangamati

Rangamati Hill District Passenger and Goods Transport Committee (RTC) meeting was held.at 11 am on Sunday.
Rangamati Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan presided over the RTC meeting organized by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) at Rangamati District Commissioner's Conference Room.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner gave orders to refrain from using dangerous and unsafe gas cylinders in motor vehicles. In addition hydraulic horns are discouraged from being used in motor vehicles.
In the meeting, a decision was taken to approve 4 AC and 4 non-AC buses in connection with the launch of 8 bus services of Chittagong Rangamati Motor Owners Association on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar route. A decision was taken to approve the running of 2 bus services by Mamun Enterprises on the Rangamati-Chittagong-Sylhet route.
Traffic Police Additional Superintendent of Police Anirban Chowdhury, Motor Vehicle Inspector Md Salah Uddin, Rangamati Road Division Deputy Engineer Touhidul Bari, Rangamati District Autorickshaw Workers Union President Paresh Majumder, Rangamati District Autorickshaw Workers Union General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Babu, District Information Office Deputy Director Amiya Ashanti Khisa and Rangamati Truck Owners Association President Jahedul Alam were present.
