PM's directive to open children’s hospital in Cumilla quickly

Prime Minister orders to quickly open that children's hospital in CumillaPrime Minister Tarique Rahman has ordered to quickly open 6 unused hospitals in the country, including the 100-bed specialized hospital built for children in Cumilla .
'6 children's hospital buildings are lying vacant at a cost of Tk 320 crore' - a report published in a media outlet on April 12 came to the attention of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The report mentioned that although 6 modern hospital buildings were built in Rangpur, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Sylhet and Cumilla and , they have been lying vacant for years.
After reading such news, the Prime Minister called on Minister of Health and Family Welfare Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain, State Minister Dr. M. A. Muhith and Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Md. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury and other concerned.
He immediately ordered the concerned including the Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare present in the meeting to inspect and start these 6 unused hospitals immediately.
At the same time, the Prime Minister asked to submit an overall report on the implementation and progress of the instructions on June 2.
