Protest march by Jubo Dal in Faridpur

A massive protest march was organized in Faridpur city on Friday (18 July) under the leadership of Benazir Ahmed Tabriz, former president of Faridpur Metropolitan Jubo Dal, former vice-chairman of Faridpur Sadar Upazila Parishad, and a prominent Jubo Dal leader.
The protest was held in response to the deteriorating law and order situation across the country and against indecent remarks made about Tarique Rahman on various social media platforms.
During the event, Benazir Ahmed Tabriz strongly criticized the offensive comments made in various media and on social networks about BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
He stated that any future negative remarks about Tarique Rahman would not be tolerated. He also urged the government to hold the national parliamentary elections as soon as possible.
