
Protest rally in Rangpur against killing of businessman by stone pelting

Students hold separate protest marches and rallies in Rangpur city to protest against killing businessman by stone-pelting in Dhaka, BNP's murders, extortion and terrorism.
The protest march started from Rangpur Zilla School on Saturday morning. Then, it passed through Kachari Bazar, Jahaj Company Intersection, Press Club, Grand Hotel Intersection, Shapla Square and met with Begum Rokeya University's anti-discrimination students at Abu Said Square.
The rally was addressed by the anti-discrimination metropolitan convener Imtiaz Ahmed Imti, member secretary Rahmat Ali, district convener Imran Ahmed, member secretary Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Jamil, and others.
The leaders of the Rangpur District Committee of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement said at the rally that this murder was not just the murder of one person, but it has created anger in the minds of the entire student community of the country. Those who extort and murder should not only be expelled from the party, but also legal action should be taken. A case should be filed by the party and justice should be ensured. So that no one can commit such atrocities in the future.
Meanwhile, students of Rangpur Polytechnic Institute held a protest march at noon. After the protest, the students said that a fascist has been dismissed and if he wants to establish fascism again, the students will not accept it. The students called on Tarique Rahman to calm down BNP leaders and activists and stop extortion and various misdeeds.
