Rally, discussion meeting on World Environment Day in Joypurhat

A rally and discussion meeting were held on the occasion of World Environment Day 2025.
The rally started from Ramdeo Bajla School on Wednesday morning, circled the main road of the city and ended in front of the DC office.
Later, a discussion meeting was held in the district administration conference room organized by the district administration and the Department of Environment.
The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bipul Kumar and addressed by Assistant Director of the Department of Environment Mohammad Faruk Hossain, District BNP convener Golzar Hossain, NCP district member Engineer Golam Kabir, Assistant Commissioner of District Administration Abdullah Al Mahbub, District Agricultural Engineer Sirajul Islam of the Department of Agricultural Extension, and BRAC District Coordinator Ariful Islam.
The speakers discussed various aspects of environmental pollution, highlighted the various problems of plastic, and urged everyone to be aware of the use of plastic.
