A warm floral reception and heartfelt congratulations were extended to the newly- appointed Administrator of the Kurigram District Council, Alhaj Sohel Hosnain Kaykobad recently.The reception was organized by the widely circulated daily Kalbela newspaper and the Kurigram District Development and Implementation Council, marking a significant moment for the district. On behalf of the organizations, Syed Ahmed Babu, General Secretary of the Kurigram District Development and Implementation Council and Kurigram District Correspondent of Daily Kalbela, conveyed his congratulations and expressed high hopes for the district’s future development.While extending his congratulations, he wished the newly appointed administrator great success in improving the living standards of people affected by poverty and river erosion, which remain major challenges in the district.In his speech, Administrator Alhaj Sohel Hosnain Kaykobad expressed his gratitude for the reception and said, “I will do my utmost to contribute to the development of this poverty-stricken and river erosion-affected district, InshaAllah. I seek the cooperation of all sectors to improve the living standards of the underprivileged people.He further added that he would work in line with the directives of the Honorable Prime Minister to advance the country toward becoming a developed nation.Among others present at the event were Md.
