Special District Law and Order Committee meeting held in Barguna with State Minister Rajib Ahsan

A special meeting of the District Law and Order Committee was held at the Barguna District Commissioner's office on Tuesday afternoon.
The session took place at 3:00 PM in the Golden Jubilee Conference Room of the DC office. State Minister for Shipping, Road Transport, and Bridges Md. Rajib Ahsan, MP, attended as the chief guest, while Barguna Deputy Commissioner Ms. Taslima Akhtar presided over.
During the meeting, committee members reviewed the overall security situation across the district, focusing on crime control, public safety, and inter-departmental coordination. Discussions emphasized strengthening law enforcement operations and institutional responses to prevent criminal activities.
Key officials and political leaders present included Barguna Superintendent of Police Kudrat-i-Khuda, Barguna District BNP Convener and District Council Administrator Nazrul Islam Mulla, District BNP Member Secretary Humayun Hasan Shahin, former District BNP Organizational Secretary and Naltona Union Parishad Chairman Shafiquzzaman Mahfuz, Additional District Magistrate Sajal Chandra Shill, alongside the RAB-8 Squad Leader, the Civil Surgeon, and heads of various government departments.
Earlier in the day, leaders of the Barguna District BNP greeted State Minister Md. Rajib Ahsan with floral bouquets upon his arrival at the Barguna Circuit House ahead of the committee session.
