
Stealing farm cows and looting gold ornaments at gunpoint in Chandnaish

Terrorists stole 6 cows, cash and gold ornaments from the farm by pointing weapons at the head of the farmer in Chandnaish, Chittagong.
The incident took place at the house of Debarkul Abdul High member of Ward No. 5 of Bailtali Union of Upazila late last night on December 10.
The estimated value of the taken cows is Tk 12 lakh, said the affected farmer Jasim Uddin. At that time, he said that in the dark of night, 15 to 20 terrorists entered the farm with weapons and loaded the cows into the truck.
As soon as the owner of the farm, Jasim, opened the door of the house, they took Jasim and his son hostage at gunpoint and tied their hands and feet.
Meanwhile, they entered 6 cows and the house and stole a pair of gold earrings, 1 ring and 10 thousand taka in cash. Jasim Uddin filed a written complaint at Chandanish police station in this incident.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandnaish police station Hossain Al Imran said that despite the shortage of manpower, I am trying hard to prevent cow theft.
