
Wall Magazine ‘Parabat’ launched at Melandaha

To mark the anniversary of the July Uprising, Adra A. Mannan High School in Melandaha upazila of Jamalpur district launched a wall magazine titled Parabat recently.
The magazine was formally unveiled by the editor-publisher and headteacher Farhad Ali. The publication features self-written poems, essays, and graffiti artworks created by students.
To celebrate the occasion, the school organized a series of programs on 31 July, including poetry recitations, dramatic performances, a discussion session, and a friendly football match—all inspired by the spirit of the July movement.
The day's events concluded with a discussion session at 4:00 PM, presided over by the School Management Committee (SMC) president, Nurul Amin.
Speakers included Shah Jamal, correspondent of The Daily Ittefaq and New Nation, Sirajul Islam, head clerk of Jahanara Latif Women’s College and a noted cultural activist, former student and poet Ariful Islam Lablu and Dr. Abdul Momin, among others
The event was scripted and hosted by assistant teachers Saiful Islam and Sadia Jahan.
