Medical campaign was conducted on the occasion of Youth Festival by Coast Guard at Nalian in Khulna
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Harun-ur-Rashid provided this information on Wednesday afternoon through a press release. According to a press release,
Since its inception, Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to support the underprivileged people of coastal and riverside areas. At various times, the Coast Guard has provided free medical services through medical campaigns to distressed and low-income individuals.
In continuation of that, Coast Guard West Zone conducted a medical campaign titled “Youth Festival 2025” in Nalian under Dacope Police Station in Khulna and its adjacent areas, where nearly 200 helpless, distressed people and children were provided with free medical treatment and essential medicines from 10.00am to 3:00pm on Wednesday.
Additionally, on the occasion of Youth Festival 2025, a special awareness event was organized. Members of the River Police, Department of Fisheries, Forest Department, local teachers and students, and people from various walks of life participated in the program. The event included awareness discussions and practical training on patriotism, disaster response, and fire extinguishing. Through this initiative, the youth were encouraged to build awareness, learn how to respond during emergencies, and foster a spirit of volunteerism.
