Public meeting of Jamaat held in Bamna

A public meeting of the Barguna Bamna Upazila branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held on Wednesday at 5:00 pm at the Bamna Smriti Soudho premises.
The chief guest Dr. Mo. Sultan Ahmed, a Shura member of Dhaka Metropolitan South and the nominated candidate of Jamaat-e-Islami, delivered a speech.
On February 7, based on the decision of the Central Election Commission of Jamaat-e-Islami at the district office, he was nominated as the candidate for the Barguna-2 (Patharghata, Bamna, and Betagi) constituency, a distinguished son of Betagi.
The meeting was presided over by Hafiz Maulana Saidur Rahman, Amir of Bamna Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami. The main speaker was Maulana Abu Jafar Mohammad Saleh, former Amir of Barguna District Jamaat-e-Islami. Special guests included Md. Asaduzzaman Al Mamun, Secretary General of Barguna District Jamaat-e-Islami; Mo. Shamim Ahsan, Assistant Secretary General of Barguna District Jamaat-e-Islami; Hafiz Maulana Masudul Alam, Amir of Patharghata Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami; and Md. Saidul Islam Sohrab, Amir of Betagi Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami, among others.
Leaders and activists from the upazila branches of Chhatra Shibir and Youth Jamaat-e-Islami were present at the meeting. The public meeting was conducted by Saifullah Mansur, Secretary of Bamna Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami.
In his speech, the chief guest, Dr. Sultan Ahmed, said: "Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami follows the laws of the Quran to create responsible citizens and capable, virtuous leadership through organizational discipline, dedication, and honesty, working for the welfare of the people. If Allah’s laws and the integrity of public representatives remain steadfast, no one can hinder the development of the state and its people, Inshallah."
"Therefore, the opportunity has come for everyone—regardless of party, opinion, community, or religion, including Hindus, Muslims, and others—to support Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in building an ideal state by casting your valuable vote to bring them to state power."
