
Kumudini Women's Medical College welcomes first-year MBBS students

A freshers' reception to 107 MBBS students of the 2025-2026 academic year of Kumudini Women's Medical College was held in Mirzapur, Tangail on Tuesday.
On the occasion, a cultural program was held, along with a discussion meeting, and the students were welcomed with floral greetings and various gifts. The the program was held in a festive atmosphere at the BP Pati Auditorium of Kumudini Women's Medical College.
The program was presided over by the Principal of the college, Prof Dr. M. A. Halim. The guests present were Shri Mahabir Pati, Director of Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal BD Ltd. and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Roy, Director of Kumudini Hospital. In addition, the department chairmen of various departments of Kumudini Hospital and Kumudini Women's Medical College, doctors, students of various academic years and guardians of new students, along with local media personnel were present at the introduction ceremony.
Kumudini Women's Medical College officials said that 107 students have been admitted to the MBBS course in the current 2025-2026 academic year. Of these, 89 are Bangladeshi and 18 are in the foreign quota. Their classes are officially starting from today, Tuesday, through an introduction ceremony.
