Accused arrested clueless theft case: Bike, mobile recovered in Tanore

The accused in the much-discussed clueless theft case in Tanor, Rajshahi has been arrested and the stolen motorcycle and mobile phone have been recovered.
On Thursday (April 2), around 4:30 pm, based on the information of the arrested accused, the motorcycle was recovered from the wall of the under-construction building of Bashir Uddin in Guripara under Kashiadanga police station in Rajshahi metropolitan area. It is known that on 25/10/2025 at 10:30 pm last year, an unknown thief blocked the path of the motorcyclist from the paved road under Tanor police station and stole a red and black TVS Rider 125 cc motorcycle and an Android mobile phone. Fatik Hasan of Hakimpur village of Niamatpur upazila of Naogaon district, who lost the bike in this incident, filed a case with the police station as the complainant. Case number 05 was registered on 10/11/2025, Section 379 Penal Code.
On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, Rajshahi, the investigating officer SI Md. Hasmat Ali, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Operations), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Godagari Circle and Officer-in-Charge, Tanor Police Station, Rajshahi, conducted an intensive investigation, with the help of information provided by the source and information technology, on 12/11/2025 at 11:40 pm, the accused involved in the case under investigation was arrested from Aliganj Nichu Bazar area under Rajpara Police Station, Rajshahi metropolis. Rabbi Hossain (19) father Md. Jamal Hossain Sang Mahishbathan Uttar Para Police Station Rajpara Metropolitan Rajshahi and recovered the mentioned stolen mobile phone from the custody of the accused.
