Awami League leader of Amtali arrested

Former Mayor freedom fighter Alhaj Nazmul Ahsan Nannu has been arrested for the banned Amtali Upazila Awami League vice-president.
He was arrested by the Barguna police in front of the Red Crescent office in Barguna on Sunday night in the Special Powers Act and sent to court.
Former Municipal Mayor Nazmul Ahsan Nanu, the vice-president of Amtali Upazila Awami League, went to Barguna on the morning of personal work. On the way back from Barguna, the Barguna police station arrested him from the front of the Red Crescent office. He was later arrested under the Special Powers Act. He was handed over to the Barguna Senior Judicial Magistrate Court on Monday.
Barguna Police Station OC Dewan Jogul Hasan said he was arrested and sent to court under the Special Powers Act.
