Barguns SP announces zero tolerance against crime, seeks public cooperation

Barguna Superintendent of Police Md. Kudrat-E-Khuda (PPM-Seba) reaffirmed a strict zero-tolerance policy against drugs, terrorism, criminal syndicates, and public harassment on Friday, urging local residents to promptly inform law enforcement regarding any criminal or suspicious activities.
Following his assumption of duties, operational activities across the district have been intensified to maintain law and order, eradicate illicit narcotics, and curb crime. Police personnel across the district's six police stations have been instructed to remain on high alert and prioritize public safety.
Under his leadership, targeted drives against drug networks continue alongside heightened surveillance against terrorism, organized crime, and threats to public security.
The Superintendent of Police emphasized that public cooperation remains vital in crime suppression, adding that while actions against criminals will be uncompromising, officers have been directed to exercise caution to ensure no innocent individual is subjected to undue harassment.
