Baset elected President, Byezid Secretary of Islami Lawyers’ Council at SC Bar

The Islami Lawyers' Council (Islami Ainjeebi Parishad), Supreme Court Bar branch, has announced several key positions for its 2025–2026 session. Adv Mohammad Abdul Baset has been named as the President, while Advocate Bayezid Hossain has been declared as the General Secretary of the new committee.The announcement was made on Wednesday during the biennial conference of the Supreme Court Bar branch, held at the Advocate Lounge of the Supreme Court. The event was presided over by newly elected President Advocate Mohammad Abdul Baset.Special guest Advocate Sheikh Atiar Rahman, advisor to Islami Andolon Bangladesh and president of the Islami Lawyers’ Council, also attended the event. The keynote speech was delivered by Prof Ashraf Ali Akon, a presidium member of Islami Andolon Bangladesh. After the conference, names for some important posts in the new 2025–26 committee were officially announced.
