Free ealth camp held in Sandwip at initiative Samriddhi Project SDI

A free eye and health camp was held in Sandwip under the initiative of Samriddhi Project SDI and with the overall support of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation PKSF. In the medical camp held at Kalapania High School from 10 am on April 30, 4 doctors provided free medical services to about three hundred patients in the fields of medicine, diabetes, arthritis, skin, allergy, maternal and child diseases and identified twenty patients for free cataract surgery in Chittagong. Before the start of the free medical service, SDI Sandwip Region RM Md. Kamal Hossain inaugurated this day-long free medical service program in an inaugural ceremony. Acting President of Sandwip Press Club Dr. Mozammel Hossain spoke as a guest at the event. The program was moderated by Samriddhi Project Coordinator Md. Sirajdaulya.
The specialist doctors who provided medical services at the medical camp are MBBS CU CMED Ultra, CCGP Dr. Md. Sajibul Karim, MBBS CU. Special Trained in BLS America Heart Association, BSS Surgery Dr. Mohammad Ekramul Gani and a group of specialist doctors from Chittagong Lion Eye Hospital. In addition, 8 health nurses of the Samriddhi Project and 2 officers of the project worked as assistants in this free medical camp.At the opening ceremony, the organizing organization informed that Samriddhi Project has been providing health care, nutrition, financial assistance, training on income-generating activities,100% sanitation, beggar rehabilitation, friendship activities, formation of Samriddhi Ward Coordination Committee and establishment of centers, educational assistance, special savings, youth development activities, vegetable cultivation in households and community-based development activities for the poor in the Sandwip region since 2010.
