Girl kidnapped after entering house, parents beaten in Gobindaganj

There have been allegations of kidnapping an SSC examinee by attacking a house in broad daylight, vandalizing and looting it and beating her parents in Gaibandha
After conducting a raid for 3 hours, the police rescued the abductee and arrested the main accused, Sanchay.
The attack and kidnapping incident took place in Beparipara of Kamardah Union of Gobindaganj Upazila on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim's family alleged that Mashruba Akhter Mim, a student of a government high school, returned home after taking the SSC examination at the Gobindaganj Girls School center on Tuesday afternoon. At around 2 pm, a group of 15-20 people, including Sanchay, son of Rafi Mia from the neighboring Moghaltuli village, suddenly attacked the house with sticks and axes. They vandalized the doors, windows, cupboards and various furniture of the house and looted cash and gold ornaments.When they tried to stop them, the girl's father Meherul Islam and mother Sultana Ferdousi Lucky were beaten and injured, and the attackers dragged the student Mim and took him away on a motorcycle.Upon receiving the information, the police conducted a drive and rescued the student Mim from Chan Mia's house in the nearby Kamardah Felupara village around 5 pm and arrested the accused Sanjay (20) and seized the motorcycle he had with him.Confirming the matter, Gobindaganj Police Station OC Bulbul Islam said that after receiving the information about the incident, the police conducted a rescue drive. Later, the student was rescued from a house and the accused Sanchay was arrested. A case has been filed with the police station in this incident.
