A career talk program and account opening campaign was jointly organized by Barendra University and NCC Bank PLC. This career seminar was held at the university auditorium  at 10:30 am on Thursday. 

The event was graced by the presence of the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Barendra University, Prof  Md. Shahidur Rahman. NCC Bank PLC Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources Rishad Hossain, Senior Vice President and Head of Transaction Banking and Cash Management Shahin Akhter Nuha, Vice President and Regional Head (North)  Md. Omar Sharif and other senior officials of the bank were present as special guests.

Also present were Dr. AHM Rahmatullah Emon, Director of the Research and Career Center, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Professor Dr. Shamim Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, Professor Dr. Kaniz Habiba Afrin, Registrar Lt. Col. Mohammad Khaled Bin Yusuf (Retd.), Deputy Director of Planning and Development, Md. Sirazur Rahman, Deputy Director of the Finance and Accounts Department, Md. Abdus Salam, and Senior Executive of the Career Center, Md. AKM Tariq Uz Zaman, along with students from various departments of the university.

The program began with a digital banking session. In this session, students were given a detailed idea about online banking, mobile app-based services and the easy process of opening a bank account. Shahin Akhter Nuha, Senior Vice President and Head of Transaction Banking and Cash Management, spoke, highlighting various aspects of smart banking and modern digital services.

This was followed by a career talk session. In this session, Executive Vice President and Head of Human Resources Rishad Hossain addressed the students on strategies for success in the corporate world and future career plans. The speakers emphasized on skill development, communication skills, and professional preparation of the students.

During the Q&A session of the event, students had the opportunity to interact directly with bank officials. In addition, a booth of NCC Bank PLC was set up on the university premises, where students could instantly open student accounts and receive various banking services and information.

Both Barendra University and NCC Bank PLC described this event as an important initiative in skill development, financial awareness and career preparation of students.
