Dhaka District Police, Industrial Police hold coordination meet on law, order

Dhaka District Police and Industrial Police-1 held a exchange-of-views meeting on Monday to maintain overall law and order, prevent crime, and effectively handle emerging situations in industrial zones.
Dhaka District Superintendent of Police Shamima Parvin and Industrial Police-1 Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mominul Islam Bhuiyan, PPM, attended the meeting alongside senior officials from both units.
The meeting focused on bolstering security in industrial belts, ensuring the safety of workers and factories, and taking swift, coordinated action to maintain peace.
Both sides emphasized strengthening mutual cooperation, acting on intelligence inputs, and executing joint measures to prevent untoward incidents.
Following the meeting, Superintendent of Police Shamima Parvin inspected Ashulia and Savar Police Stations to evaluate their operations and assess the quality of public service delivery.
During the visits, she interacted directly with service seekers and victims to listen to their grievances. She instructed station officials to resolve complaints promptly, ensure proper care for victims, and guarantee swift legal assistance to the public.
