
Discussion on construction of quality buildings for primary schools under PEDP-4 of LGED held

A discussion meeting on the construction of sustainable quality buildings for primary schools across the country was held at the LGED headquarters on Wednesday under the initiative of the Primary Education Development Program (PEDP)-4.
The meeting was presided over by LGED Chief Engineer Md. Abdur Rashid Miah.
In his speech, he stressed construction of quality building and providing good furniture in the buildings. He said modern technology must be used in the construction of multi-storey buildings and more vigilance should be exercised.
LGED Additional Chief Engineer (Education) Md. Sohrab Ali, Superintending Engineer Md. Mahbub Alam, Md. Sharif Hossain, Executive Engineer, Senior Assistant Engineer, Deputy Assistant Engineer and other officials of various levels were present.
