Discussion on July Uprising Day at Bogura Press Club

On the occasion of the second anniversary of the July Uprising Day, a discussion meeting was held at the Bogra Press Club auditorium at 3 pm on Tuesday at the joint initiative of Bogura Press Club and Journalists Union Bogura. July fighters, journalists and invited guests participated in the meeting.
Md. Rezaul Karim Badsha, MP for Bogura-6 (Sadar) constituency and Bogura District BNP President, was present as the chief guest at the event
Krishak Dal Vice President Helaluzzaman Talukder Lalu, Bogura-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) MP and District BNP Acting General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain, newly created Bogra City Corporation Administrator MR Islam Swadhin, District Council Administrator AKM Ahsanul Tayyab Zakir, Bogra Journalists Union President Ganesh Das and Bogura Press Club General Secretary Kalam Azad were present as special guests.
The meeting was presided over by Rahat Ahmed Ritu, Senior Vice President of Bogura Press Club. Abu Sayeed, General Secretary of Journalists Union Bogra, moderated the program.
At the discussion meeting, speakers spoke on the significance of the July Uprising, the sacrifice of the martyrs and the need to uphold democratic values. At this time, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs of the July Uprising and their memories and experiences were highlighted. Various media workers including members of the Bogura Press Club and Journalists Union Bogra were present at the event.
