DU VC delivers special lecture on ‘Democracy and Constitutional Reform’

Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, VC of the University of Dhaka, delivered a special lecture titled "Democracy and Constitutional Reform" at the university’s Applied Democracy Lab on Friday.
The event was organized jointly by the Applied Democracy Lab and International IDEA Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance) as part of the program "Students of Youth Democracy Academy."
The lecture was attended by Prof Mohammad Ainul Islam, Director of the Applied Democracy Lab, along with nearly 90 students from 25 departments of the University of Dhaka.
The event emphasized democratic awareness and youth engagement in constitutional discourse, aiming to empower future leaders with knowledge of democratic processes and governance reform.
