Eid reunion of Jamaat held in Taraganj

The Eid reunion programme of Jamaat-e-Islami organised by Taraganj Upazila of Rangpur district was held. On Saturday at 10 am, this event was held under the auspices of Jamaat-e-Islami.The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. The chief guest was Mr. Professor Shah Muhammad Nur Hossain, former Deputy Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Rangpur Metropolitan, presided over by Amir S M Alamgir Hossain of Jamaat-e-Islami Taraganj Upazila branch. The special guest was Mr. Maulana Mohammad Abdul Mannan Khan, member of the District Majlis-e-Shura and Working Committee, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Rangpur. The event was conducted by Mr. Yakub Ali, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Taraganj Upazila branch.He emphasised the importance of Taqwa during the past month of Ramadan to further strengthen the Islamic movement. At this time, he demanded the release of the oppressed leader ATM Azharul Islam.
