Examinee, accomplice arrested for cheating in TRC exam in Rangpur

The Police Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) exam was held at Rangpur Police Line School and College on the basis of vacant posts to fill up complete merit and qualification on Tuesday.
At that time, the examination center was visited by the DIG of Rangpur Range Mohammad Aminul Islam and President of the Recruitment Board of Dinajpur Muhammad Marufat Hossain.
According to the Rangpur District Police press release, during the written examination held on May 20, the accused examinee Md. Naeem Islam was trying to cheat on his mobile phone and check the answers and write them.
At that time, the examiner on duty saw the matter and caught him and during interrogation, he said that his friend sent him the answer sheet using IMO through his mobile phone. The name of that friend is Mohammad: Hasanur Islam (22), father Mohammad Payarul Islam, mother Mosa: Najma Begum. Both of them are from the same address. The complaint also revealed that a friend named Musa provided the question paper in exchange for money, prepared the answer and helped send it to Naeem Islam. Later, SI (Unarmed) of the police Amit Partha Sarkar along with the force arrested Hasanur Islam (22). Continuing the attempt to arrest the other absconding accomplice Musa, the room in-charge Police Inspector (Armed) Mohammad Ainul Haque filed a case against the arrested accused and handed them over to the police station. At that time, Mohammad Joynal Abedin, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin and Finance) Rangpur. Md. Shariful Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Gaibandha were also present at the examination center.

It is to be noted that the candidates who are successful in the written examination will be finally selected by participating in the oral examination on 29th May 2025.
