A view exchange meeting was held between expatriate Engineer Aminur Islam (CIP), an aspirant for BNP nomination in the Joypurhat-2 constituency, and journalists of Joypurhat Press Club.
The meeting was held on Wednesday at around 11 AM at the premises of Joypurhat Press Club.
During the session, Oman expatriate Engineer Aminur Islam (CIP) said that he has been involved in BNP politics since his student life. He also mentioned that his father served as a Gram Sarkar during 1976–77.
He further stated that journalists have played a vital role in social transformation since the country's independence, and their contribution is always memorable. For the betterment of Joypurhat — especially Kalai, Khetlal, and Akkelpur — it is essential to bring the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) back to power. "If BNP deems me qualified, I want to serve the people of this area," he added.
BNP leaders from Tilakpur Union, including Mojafor Hossain, Noyon Hossain, and Sohag, were present at the meeting along with others.
