On the occasion of National Education Week 2026, Hitosh Moy Barua, Head Teacher of Chemidalu Para High School, has once again been selected as the Best Institution Head of Bandarban Sadar Upazila. He received this recognition for his tireless contribution to education, effective leadership, and consistent success in improving educational quality.
His name was announced as the Best Institution Head at the upazila level by Marufa Sultana Khan Hiramoni, the UNO of Bandarban Sadar. The announcement was made during a program organized as part of the activities of National Education Week 2026.
It is learned that Hitosh Moy Barua has long been working tirelessly to spread the light of education in the remote hilly regions. His initiatives in developing a modern and humane education system, along with overall school development, have been praised by concerned circles. In particular, he has earned special recognition for reducing dropout rates, increasing regular attendance, and playing an active role in co-curricular activities. He is currently serving as the Head Teacher of Chemidalu Para High School in Bandarban Sadar Upazila. He is a proud son of Shilkuppur village in Banshkhali of Chattogram district and has completed an MA and BEd in his academic career. He had previously been selected as Best Institution Head in 2017 and 2019 as well.
Meanwhile, this honor has spread a sense of joy and pride among the teaching community as well as local students and guardians. Local residents expect that under his leadership, the Chemidalu Para educational institution will continue to move forward and set an exemplary standard in improving the quality of education in the hilly regions.
