Human chain demanding urgent repair of Bagerhat Municipality roads, removal of Engineer Rizvi

The residents of Bagerhat Municipality have formed a human chain demanding urgent repair of Bagerhat Municipality roads before the rains and the removal of the Municipality's Assistant Engineer TM Rezwanul Haque Rizvi at 5:30 pm on Friday.
Hundreds of people from the area led by District BNP leader Khan Monirul Islam Moni participated in the human chain in front of the Dashani Vocational Training Institute in the town.
The speakers participating in the human chain said that no roads in Bagerhat were developed during the previous government. Harilut is going on in the name of road repair. Former corrupt mayor of the municipality Khan Habibur Rahman and dishonest Assistant Engineer TM Rezanul Haque Rizvi have looted lakhs of taka. Although the mayor is absconding due to corruption, Engineer Rizvi is still continuing his misdeeds in the municipality.
The human chain demanded the immediate removal of Rizvi from the responsibility of the municipality. Among others, the human chain was addressed by former organizing secretary of the district Chhatra Dal Atiqur Rahman, convener of the Krishak Dal Asafuddaula Jewel, former vice president of the district Jubo Dal Masuduzzaman Masud, SK Badrul Alam, Raihan Joarder, Shahed Somi Badshah, Masum Billah, Suman Paik and local residents..
