ICT Minister Faqir Mahbub calls for integrated efforts to accelerate tech transformation

Minister for Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, as well as Science and Technology, Faqir Mahbub Anam, MP called for a highly coordinated, integrated initiative to accelerate the country's ongoing technological transformation.
The minister made the call while addressing as the chief guest at the Revised Annual Development Programme (RADP) review meeting for the month of May 2026, held at the conference room of the ICT Tower in the capital's Agargaon area on Saturday.
During the meeting, project directors presented detailed progress reports on their respective initiatives. The session featured extensive evaluations of ongoing operational activities, infrastructural developments, financial execution rates, and the strategic roadmaps of various development projects currently under the jurisdiction of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division.
Emphasizing accountability, Minister Anam directed all project officials to execute their assignments with absolute sincerity and transparency. He stressed that the primary objective of the state's digital expansion must be to seamlessy deliver technology-driven public services directly to the doorsteps of the grassroots population.
Presided over by the Secretary of the ICT Division, Kazi Anwar Hossain, the high-level review meeting was attended by senior administrative officials of the division, representatives from various subordinate statutory bodies, and relevant project directors.
