
IEB's 77th founding anniversary celebrated in C'nawabganj

The 77th founding anniversary of the Institution of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB), the oldest and only national professional organization of engineers in Bangladesh, or 'Engineers' Day', was celebrated in Chapainawabganj with a colorful event.
On Wednesday morning, the day was started with a rally from the Public Works Department premises at the initiative of the IEB
Chapainawabganj Sub-Center.
Then, the rally left from there and circled various roads of the city before meeting in the room of the Executive Engineer of the Public
Works Department for a discussion meeting.
Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department, presided over the discussion meeting. Present at the meeting were LGED Executive Engineer Anwar Hossain, Water Development Board Executive Engineer Ahsan Habib, NESCO Sales and Distribution-1
Executive Engineer Md. Aliul Azim, NESCO-2 Executive Engineer Md. Selim Reza, Public Health Engineering Department Executive Engineer Amit Sarkar, LGED Senior Assistant Engineer Md. Shahiduzzaman, Assistant Engineer Md. Ariful Islam, Assistant Engineer Md. Sawon Islam, Public Works Department Sub-Divisional Engineer Md. Rabiul
Islam Khan, Public Health Engineering Department Assistant Engineer Md. Fazle Rabbi and NESCO-1 Assistant Engineer Munim Hossain.
The speakers at the meeting called on everyone to work together to establish the professional rights of engineers and build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh.
