JUCSU polls : JCD announces full panel

Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced its full panel for the upcoming Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) election.
The panel was announced by Abu Afsan Mohammad Yahya, JCD’s central senior vice-president on Thursday at 1:30 pm at a press conference held in front of the “Adommo 24” monument on the university campus.
Sheikh Sadi, a student of the Bangla department, will contest for the post of Vice-President (VP) in the panel while Tanzila Hossain Baishakhi will run for the post of general secretary.
Md. Sajjadul Islam has been nominated for Joint General Secretary (Male), while Anjuman Ara Ikra has been nominated for Joint General Secretary (Female).
Other nominated candidates include Yamin Howlader as Education and Research Secretary, Likhan Chandra Roy as Environment and Nature Conservation Secretary, Zahid Hasan Khan as Literature and Publication Secretary, Md. Abidur Rahman as Cultural Secretary, Parvez Hasan Nishan as Assistant Cultural Secretary, Md. Aminul Islam as Drama Secretary, Md. Jaber Hasan as Information Technology and Library Secretary.
Md. Tawhidur Rahman Khan as Social Welfare and Human Resource Development Secretary, while Shakil Sardar as Assistant Social Welfare Secretary (Male), Kazi Mousumi Afroze as Assistant Social Welfare Secretary (Female), Uzzal Hasan as Sports Secretary, Ruhul Amin Sweet as Assistant Sports Secretary (Male), Mosammat Shahanaj Parvin Shanu as Assistant Sports Secretary (Female), Zahidul Islam as Transport and Communication Secretary and Md. Mominul Islam as Health and Food Safety Secretary
Besides, Sumaiya Sultana Siya, Happy Akhter Shila, and Shayla Sabrin Nijhum have been nominated as Executive Members (Female), while Hamidullah Salman, Mehedi Hasan, and A.M. Rafidullah have been nominated as Executive Members (Male).
