
Leaders of Jaldhaka Press Club, journalist society visit grave of teacher Mehreen Chowdhury

Leaders of Press Club Jaldhaka and the local journalist society visited the grave of Mehreen Chowdhury, a teacher of Milestone School and College who lost her life in a tragic plane crash, seeking forgiveness for her death.
They visited Bogulagari Chowdhurypara graveyard in Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari on Thursday afternoon. Leaders and members of various journalist organizations participated in it.
Press Club Jaldhaka President Kamruzzaman, General Secretary Shahjahan Kabir Lelin, Vice Presidents Moniruzzaman Lebu, Mahadi Hasan Manik and Hasibul Islam Mitu, Treasurer Chanowar Hossain Badsha, Sports, Literature and Culture Secretary Hafizur Islam, members Hasanuzzaman Siddiqui and Ramzan Ali participated in the visit.
Also present were Jaldhaka Reporters Unity President Rasheduzzaman Suman, Vice President Mahbub Noman, Entertainment Editor Zahidul Islam Zahid, Reporters Club's N. I. Manik, Tahmidar Rahman Milon and many others.
At the end of the visit, Press Club Jaldhaka President Kamruzzaman said, "Meherin Chowdhury was not just a teacher, she was a humanitarian, idealistic and responsible person. We are saddened by her untimely death. We pray for the peace of her soul and express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family."
It is mentioned that that Meherin Chowdhury lost her life in a tragic plane crash recently. She was an experienced and popular teacher at Milestone School and College. Her untimely demise has cast a shadow of grief over the education world.
