Narail’s pride Shamina Parvin honoured with international women police recognition

Shamina Parvin, a distinguished daughter of Narail and a pride of Bangladesh Police, has achieved the prestigious role of Coordinator for the Central and Southern Asia region, covering 22 countries, under the International Association of Women Police (IAWP).
Currently serving in the Education, Sports, and Culture Branch at Bangladesh Police Headquarters, Shamina Parvin has earned recognition both nationally and internationally for her leadership, humanitarian efforts, and professional excellence alongside her official duties.
Previously, she served as a Commander of the Women Police Unit in a United Nations Peacekeeping Mission. She has also successfully performed roles as an instructor at the Police Academy and Training Center, as well as Training and Shooting In-Charge at the Traffic School.
Shamina Parvin possesses specialized expertise and experience in providing training on issues such as violence against women, human trafficking, and gender sensitivity in traffic management.
Her remarkable achievements have not only made the nation proud but have also paved an inspiring path for future women leaders.
