New committee of Ashulia Press Club: Mozzafar President, Nipu General Secretary

A 15-member full executive committee has been formed for the Ashulia Press Club. The committee has appointed Md. Mozzafar Hossain Joy, the district correspondent of Somoy Television, as President, and Mahafuzur Rahman Nipu, the district correspondent of Jamuna Television, as General Secretary.The committee was formed during a meeting held on Thursday night at a restaurant in Ashulia, attended by the club’s members.Other members of the committee include:Vice Presidents – Laiju Ahmed Chowdhury (Mohona TV), Apu Ohab (Channel 24), Zakir Hasan (Channel i), Mehedi Hasan Mithu (Jugantor), Shefali Akter Mitu (Bangla Vision TV), Omar Faruk (RTV) Joint Secretary – Nazrul Islam Manik (Dinkal), Organizing Secretary – Sohel Rana (Bonik Barta), Treasurer – Tuhin Ahmed (Naya Diganta), Office Secretary – Shafi Mahmud Chowdhury (DBC News), Publicity and Publication Secretary – Al Mamun
Executive Members – Zahirul Islam Khan Liton (Staff Reporter, Asian TV) and Shahinur Rahman Shahin (Dainik Khola Kagoj)
This committee will serve for the next one year. During its tenure, it will carry out necessary reforms, revise the constitution, prepare an updated membership list, and arrange a free, fair, and credible election.
It is mentioned that the Ashulia Press Club was established in 2005.
