Lighthouse Diagnostic and Hospital, a popular healthcare institution that has been providing services in Subarnachar, Noakhali for a decade and a half, has started normal delivery service with the most modern facilities.
The journey of this service program for expectant mothers began with the official inauguration of the 24/7 Normal Delivery Center at the Lighthouse Diagnostic and Hospital located in Master Para, Charbata Union of the upazila at 9 am on Friday.
The inaugural ceremony was moderated by Rashedul Islam, a member of the board of directors of Lighthouse Diagnostic and Hospital, and chaired by President Ashraf Hossain Shaheen. Senior madrasa teacher leader and prominent social worker Mao. Sayedul Haque, Principal of Haji Mosharraf Hossain School and College Niranjan Debnath, Secretary of Subarnachar Upazila Jamaat-e-Islam Zaman Ullah Mukul, President of Lions Club International Noakhali Saiduzzaman Sujan, Managing Director of Lighthouse Tofail Ahmed, Vice President Kazi Arifur Rahman and Senior Staff Nurse Taslima Akhter spoke at the event.
The Lighthouse Authority said that the new board of directors of this institution, which provides health services with great reputation in Subarnachar, has taken various steps with the intention of starting work with new enthusiasm. In continuation of this, in order to expand the scope of services in marginal areas, arrangements have been made to conduct delivery activities through skilled, experienced and senior staff nurses for safe normal delivery. Where there is a completely safe and clean environment, immediate treatment and care of the newborn is available.
At the end of the program, prayers and supplications were led by the Khatib of Charbata Khaserhat Jame Mosque, Mao Ahsan Ullah.
