Press conference in Satkhira to inform about i collection on family card program

An information press conference has been held on the initiative of the Department of Social Services of the Ministry of Social Welfare on the nationwide simultaneous data collection of the Family Card program.
This press conference was organized at Satkhira Sadar Upazila Digital Corner at 2 pm on Monday. As part of this nationwide simultaneous program, the Upazila Social Services Office also organized this event in Satkhira.
The event, organized with the theme "Promise to Build a Self-reliant Family", was presided over by Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Arnab Dutta. Social Welfare Minister Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, who joined the press conference virtually, delivered an important speech as the chief guest.
Chief guest, the Minister of Social Welfare said that the nationwide family card data collection program has been started to create a real database of the country's marginalized and disadvantaged families and to ensure transparency. Through this, it will be possible to reach the benefits of the government's social security programs to the real beneficiaries and this program will play a unique role in building a self-reliant family.
District BNP convener HM Rahmatullah Palash was present as the special guest. Present at the event were Deputy Director of the Department of Social Services Satkhira SM Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Director Md. Rokonuzzaman, Senior Fisheries Officer of Sadar Upazila Shafiqul Islam, Upazila Social Services Officer Md. Shariful Islam, City Social Services Officer Md. Mashidul Haque, Upazila Agriculture Officer Plaboni Sarkar and others.
The guests presented various technical and field-level plans for the family card data collection program. Journalists from local print and electronic media and officials from various levels of the social service office were present at the press conference.
