Swift action by Bangladesh Ansar members saved the life of an eight-year-old child following a severe road accident near the Vateshan Intersection in front of the Dimla Upazila Health Complex in Nilphamari district on Thursday.
The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon when a speeding motorcycle collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw, leaving eight-year-old Ibrahim critically injured with severe facial and neck trauma.
Upon receiving information about the collision, APC Monnaf and Ansar member Alamgir Hossain from the Dimla Upazila Health Complex Ansar camp rushed to the scene. The Ansar personnel rescued the heavily bleeding child and immediately brought him to the health complex emergency department, securing urgent first-aid treatment from duty doctors.
Due to the critical condition of the child, attending physicians advised an immediate transfer for specialized medical care. Recognizing the urgency, the Ansar members promptly arranged an official ambulance and facilitated Ibrahim's transfer to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital for advanced treatment.
Hospital authorities and local residents commended the Ansar members for their prompt humanitarian response and lifesaving intervention.
