Protest demanding removal of school teachers over 'Joy Bangla' Song at Sonagazi Scout Jamboree

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamrul Hasan acknowledged the incident as unfortunate and stated that an investigation is underway to determine whether the song's inclusion was intentional. He emphasized the need for greater caution in future events to avoid similar situations.
The incident occurred on Saturday during the closing ceremony of the 8th Upazila Scout Jamboree in Sonagazi.
The playing of the "Joy Bangla" song prompted Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam to leave the venue immediately. He subsequently assigned Additional District Magistrate Manzur Ahsan to lead an investigation and submit a report on the matter.
