A health care advice and distribution of health supplies to adolescents and women was held in Harirampur Upazila of Manikganj on Friday.

The event was held in Enayetpur village of Azimnagar Union of the upazila, organized by the service organization BARSIC under the patronage of the Deboniar Group and in collaboration with the Upazila Health Complex, a health care advice and distribution of health supplies program was held for adolescents and women in remote char areas under the leadership of BARSIC Program Officer Muktar Hossain.

At this time, the program and the health care advice and distribution of health supplies program began under the chairmanship of the local UP member of the area, Jahangir.

Present as guests at the event were former principal of Government Justice Nurul Islam Degree College Md. Manowar Hossain, regional coordinator of BARSIC Bimal Roy, deputy assistant community medical officer Nazmin Sultan, Azimnagar Union family welfare assistant Roksana Akhter, BARSIC program officer Satya Ranjan Saha, volunteer Jharna, volunteer Sultana Akhter, etc.

At that time, deputy assistant medical officer Naznin Sultan gave instructions to the teenagers about various public awareness health care tips and 100 (napkins), various medicines and health requisites were distributed among the adult teenagers.

It is mentioned that the people present said that the only demand of the people of the remote char areas is that there is no alternative to a modern community clinic in this area to ensure their healthcare security. They also strongly demanded from the government that all government services, including agricultural expansion in the char areas, be within the reach of the people of this marginal region so that they can enjoy all the services at the edge.
