Superintendent of Police Gaziur Rahman has taken charge as the new spokesperson of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP).
He is currently working as Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters) of RMP. He took over the additional responsibility of the Media Wing of RMP on Tuesday.
Gaziur Rahman previously served as the media spokesperson of Bogura and Naogaon district police for about 8 years. This officer, who joined the service as Assistant Superintendent of Police through the 29th BCS in 2011, is well known for his professionalism and dedication.
After assuming office, he told journalists, "I believe that with your cooperation, we will be able to further strengthen the good relationship between the police and journalists."
