The goal is to reduce the number of hepatitis B and C patients by 2 percent and reduce the mortality rate to 1 percentMore than million people around the world are infected with some hepatitis virus. The virus infection can lead to complex and ill -suitable diseases such as liver fellure, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, from general jaundice to liverAnd nine of every 10 people do not know they are infected with hepatitis B or C virus.
The population of the hepatitis B virus is 5.7 percent. AboutAbout 1.70 million people live in Bangladesh. About 8.5 million people in the country's total population are infected with hepatitis B virus. The number of men affected is 57 lakh. The number of women is 28 lakh and children are 4 lakh.
