‘Shaheed Rudra Sen Lake’ Inaugurated at SUST

In honor of the July Revolution martyr Rudra Sen, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) inaugurated the newly named ‘Shaheed Rudra Sen Lake’.
The inauguration took place on Thursday evening , led by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr.A.M. Sarwaruddin Chowdhury. In this event, former SUST VC Prof Dr. Musleh Uddin Ahmed, Estate Officer Prof Dr. Md. Abul Hasnat, along with faculty members and students from various departments, were present. It is noted that Rudra Sen was a brilliant student of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science.
On 18 July 2024, he was martyred while participating in an anti-fascist movement.
