18 students of DU Bijoy Ekattor Hall get Champion Sports awards

Some 18 students of Bijoy Ekattor Hall, Dhaka University have been awarded the 'Champion Sports Award' for their outstanding performance and success in various sports competitions at the national and international levels.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, who was present as the chief guest at a function organized at the Hall Auditorium on Tuesday evening handed over the award crests to the students.
The function was presided over by the Principal of Bijoy Ekattor Hall, Prof Dr. S. M. Ali Reza, and former captain of Bangladesh Cricket Team, A.S.M. Rakibul Hasan, was present as the special guest. DUCSU Sports Secretary Arman Hossain and other leaders of the hall assembly were present at the function.
The honorable students are Faisal Ahmed (Sociology), Ahsan Mondal (Bengali), Solaiman Hossain Robi (Law), Imtiaz Ahmed Farazi (Finance), Sifat Sadiq Khan (Social Welfare), Raju Ahmed (English), Tanvir Hossain (International Relations), Md. Rifat (Sociology), Md. Ali Al Murammar Rakesh Saikat (Population Sciences), Touhid Hossain (Anthropology), Firoz Hossain (Anthropology), Ashiq Hossain (History), Anwar Zahed (Political Science), Sahirul Islam (World Religions and Culture), Nazmul Hossain (English), Saif Ahmed (French Language and Literature), Mithun Rahman (International Business) and Rashed Mahmud (Sociology).
